The Town of Bloomsburg Police Department is committed to excellence in service to the public. Officers are concerned with the safety of all students and residents alike. Students living off-campus within the town are encouraged to contact Bloomsburg Police if they have questions about their safety, parking, state laws and town ordinances.

Off-campus students may call police at (570) 784-6300 non-emergencies or 911. The Bloomsburg Police Department is located at 301 E. 2nd Street, just down the hill from Carver Hall.

Off-campus residents should check their street for street sweeping schedules as leaf collections and street sweeping runs Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. April through November. Vehicles parked in these areas during street sweeping or leaf colection are ticketed.

The Town of Bloomsburg has over 700 parking spaces located throughout the downtown. During heavy snow falls, vehicle owners are required to move their vehicles for snow removal crews and heavy equipment. Failure to move vehicles as required will result in vehicles being ticketed and towed at the owners expense.
